About Lesley Peters

Lesley Peters

Life is a journey, and you learn from everyone you come into contact with. As the daughter of a banker and teacher, Lesley has learned the value of a dollar, the virtue of patience, and the importance of listening.

After four years at Furman University in Greenville, South Carolina, Lesley graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration. She married Andy, her college sweetheart, a year later and moved to Atlanta. Family and friends come first and in Atlanta they have no shortage of either. After a short break from schooling, Lesley decided to complete her Masters at Oglethorpe University in Atlanta. Although she secretly hoped to break into a career in real estate, Lesley continued to push back the dream and wait for the “right time.” As life happened, it became apparent that Lesley needed to make the right time happen. So, she did. And, life hasn’t been the same since!

Lesley joined Keller Williams Realty because she shared in its ideals of honesty, integrity, teamwork, and she wanted to surround herself with other successful agents whom she could learn from and would in turn, make her better. It was the best decision she ever made. In Lesley’s first full year with Keller Williams Realty she closed 23 transactions between March and December. As her client base has grown, so has the volume of business each and every year thanks to satisfied past clients, referrals, and market mastery. When clients have a positive 10+ experience, they want to share it with everyone. Lesley always goes the extra mile to ensure clients have the best experience possible. Keller Williams Realty has given Lesley an opportunity to exceed personal and professional goals and earning her a reputation as one of the top performers in the Peachtree Road office. Lesley currently serves on the Agent Leadership Council and is a Lifetime Member of the Atlanta Board of Realtors Million Dollar Club.

Andy and Lesley have lived in several different areas of Atlanta, both inside and outside of the perimeter. They have enjoyed each area independently and the unique differences they possess. Today, they live in Brookhaven with their son, John Morgan, daughter, Vada, and their 12-pound Italian greyhound.

About Andy Peters

Andy Peters

Many people say, “How in the world could you work with your wife?” To them, Andy says, “it’s easy and very fortunately, a pleasure.”  Andy and Lesley complement each other in many ways. Lesley’s attention to detail and mastery of the business meshes well with Andy’s calming, service first, big picture approach.

As an Atlanta native, Andy has lived, worked, or played in virtually every inch of the metro area. Andy graduated from Marist School in Atlanta and went on to graduate from Furman University in Greenville, South Carolina with a B.A. in Communication Studies. Out of college, he went to work with Aqua Koolers LLC of Georgia, which eventually merged with Quench USA. Andy served as a service technician, a sales representative, a sales manager, and finally as Vice President. His eight year experience with Quench USA was fulfilling and enjoyable, but the more he learned about the real estate business, the more he realized that this is the industry where he belonged. Andy joined Lesley to form The Peters Company because he shared in her passion for the industry, and it’s been one of the best decisions he has ever made.

Andy relates the real estate buying and selling process to swimming through shark infested waters. One thing Andy can say with certainty is that The Peters Company makes the process simple and less dangerous. They follow a time tested model because this is a very important decision for you and your future, and you deserve to have a well prepared and organized field guide. Andy’s father, John, told him to always pay the upfront price in business and in life no matter the cost; he also told him to keep his word by always doing what you tell someone you’re going to do. To this day Andy is hard pressed to recall any better advice. By paying the upfront price, The Peters Company has invested in understanding today’s market and has embraced changes in technology so that they can provide the best tools and information, helping you make the right decision for you. By keeping their word, they operate with the highest of integrity in all that they do so that you do not have to worry about their reliability or their motives. About John Peters

John has been a professional sales consultant for over 45 years and takes great pride in providing a higher level of service and support for his clients. John subscribes to two professional philosophies – “Customers are for life” and “Do what you say and pay the up-front price to accomplish it”. John began his sales career with Xerox Corporation in the early seventies and escalated through the sales ranks while earning some of Xerox’s highest awards of achievement. This was just the beginning of his long and successful sales career. One of John’s greatest accomplishments was joining a small office products company headquartered in Macon, Georgia, and helping the company to grow and become the largest office products company in the Southeast. With his leadership over 16 years, Acme Business Products became IKON Office Solutions, with over 36 offices and 700 employees. John retired from IKON in 1997 and started a new business that offered the highest standards in the drinking water industry. Over the next 10 years he grew Aqua Koolers, LLC to become the largest point-of-use drinking water company in the Southeast. In 2006, John sold his company to Quench USA, now the largest drinking water company in the United States. After enjoying a brief career with Cresa Partners in the commercial real estate ranks, John joined The Peters Company because it gave him an opportunity to reunite and team again with his son Andy, a successful business partnership that flourished in the drinking water industry for over eight years. John is excited to be a part of one of Atlanta’s most well respected real estate teams.

Having lived and/or worked in Atlanta for the last thirty years, John has experienced several real estate cycles both personally and professionally. Since he has ran his own businesses almost all of his professional career, John understands the difficult business decisions that his clients face when buying and selling property. He builds lifelong relationships with his clients by comfortably helping them make the most of their opportunities in today’s market.

Atlanta is home for John.  He has lived in several Atlanta suburbs outside the perimeter, and has extensive knowledge of the Atlanta area at large.  Currently John lives in Roswell, GA with his wife Ann and his two dogs.

We found the Peters company on the internet and left a message on their website saying that we were interested in looking for our first home. Within the hour Andy had called and set up our first face to face appointment. This really impressed us since it was late on a Sunday. This level of service continued throughout the hunt. Any time my wife or I had a question Andy or Lesley were either right on the other end of the phone or got quickly back to us by phone, fax, or email as needed. There were a few times we were on the phone at 10 or 11 PM, we also met a few times after hours or on the weekends at their offices. My wife and I work opposite schedules, so Andy and I went out and looked, found some promising places and then went back out with the wife. Throughout the whole experience (which included a truly cursed closing in which NOTHING went right) Andy and Lesley were right there going out of their way to make sure things were proceeding as they should. We also used the VA loan guarantee program- Andy and Lesley jumped every hurdle that popped up with grace and kept us in the loop the whole time.
